Wet n’ Wild World highlights

Whether you want to kick back and relax on the Lazy River or you want to get your adrenaline going on a waterslide with a 50-foot drop, Wet n’ Wild World is the perfect place to start.

  • Twister: climb into a two-person inner tube and race down the twisting slide.
  • Kamikaze: get a dose of pure adrenaline as you drop into the water.
  • Bubba Tub: the whole family can ride together on this four-person inner tube and slide down six stories.
  • Lazy River: for those looking to chill, float around the 330-year river bend past gorgeous views of the bright blue Caribbean.
  • Wave Pool: the perfect combination of sea and pool.
  • Kid’s Park: not to worry, there’s a place for the little ones too – and there’s always a lifeguard on duty.

Aahventura World

This isn’t your typical amusement park – trade in roller coasters for zip lines, escape challenges, and a free fall station.

  • Tarzania: find out what happens when you combine a roller coaster with an 800-foot zip line.
  • Caribbean Zip: fly over the entire park on the four-person zip line course.
  • Escape Challenge: dare to walk across these six wobbly bridges that hang from above.
  • Free Fall Station: are you brave enough to drop into the unknown?
  • Bungee Swing: strap in for a half free fall, half pendulum swing.

  • Fun World

For the little ones, Fun World is your one stop shop. Age-appropriate amusement rides, carnival games, and delicious snacks galore.

  • Hurricane Roller Coaster: ride Cancun’s only roller coaster for kids.
  • Crazy Chairs: swing happily through the air on a rotating ride over the Caribbean Sea.
  • Carousel: enjoy a classic childhood ride aboard this Fun World carousel.

    Driving Directions

If traveling from Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos, Tulum…

Head north on the main federal highway called “Carr. Federal Cancun-Tulum/Mexico 307” (NOTE: There is only one main highway(that goes both ways) between Tulum and Cancun, so it should not be difficult to locate)
On the right handside, you will eventually see an exit towards the “Hotel Zone/Zona Hotelera”.
(It will take approximately 90 minutes from Tulum, 45 minutes from Playa del Carmen, and 15 minutes from Puerto Morelos)
After this, in about a ¼ mile you will merge onto “Punta Nizuc – Cancun” and start heading east.
After 2.4 miles , you should see Kilometer Marker 25, and Ventura Park/Dolphinaris will be on your right hand side.
NOTE: After you make a right to enter Ventura Park, almost immediately after, you will have to make a U-Turn towards the left, and then enter the park on your right-hand side.

    If traveling from Cancun downtown

Option 1, The Scenic Route thru the Hotel Zone:

First, you must find the roundabout intersection between Bonampak Avenue, and Kukulkan Boulevard.
Head east on the roundabout towards Kukulkan Boulevard.
You are officially entering Kilometer Marker 1 on the Hotel Zone.
From there, proceed advancing down Kukulkan Boulevard as the Kilometer Markers increase from 1 to eventually 25. The whole process (depending on traffic) should take you about 30 minutes.
You should see Ventura Park/Dolphinaris on your left-hand side.

Option 2, The Slightly Quicker Route (circumventing the Hotel Zone):

Head south on the federal highway (which starts off as Tulum Ave, then turns into Colosio Boulevard) until you see the exit sign for “Zona Hotelera”(Hotel Zone). (It should take about 20 minutes to get there from the intersection of Bonampak and Kukulkan.)
After this, in about a ¼ mile you will merge onto “Punta Nizuc – Cancun” and start heading east.
After 2.4 miles , you should see Kilometer Marker 25, and Ventura Park/Dolphinaris will be on your right hand side.
The whole trip should take about 20 minutes, and tends to have less traffic than the “The Scenic Route”.
NOTE: After you make a right to enter Ventura Park, almost immediately after, you will have to make a U-Turn towards the left, and then enter the park on your right-hand side.
