For many, visiting Las Vegas is all about the gambling, exotic strip clubs and all things found on the Strip. However, not everyone who travels to Vegas wants to spend their time indoors at one of the many casinos throughout the area. Why would they?
There is so much more to see and do in Las Vegas than just sitting in front of a slot machine waiting to win big. Those wanting to spend time outdoors will win big when they take a ride on the High Roller Observation Wheel at The LINQ.
Not only does a ride aboard this Las Vegas ferris wheel offer an amazing panoramic view of the Strip, it is also conveniently located next to shopping and dining venues you can explore before or after you ride high into the Las Vegas sky.
Looking for discounts on Las Vegas High Roller tickets? Daytime passes are available with the Las Vegas Explorer Pass®.
Save up to 55% on top museums, tours, and activities vs. paying at the gate. You can visit multiple Las Vegas attractions for one low price. Or, build your own pass and save 20% guaranteed when you buy two or more attractions together.
You really can’t miss the High Roller Observation Wheel when exploring the Las Vegas Strip. This massive 550-foot tall ferris wheel is the world’s tallest observation wheel. Insider tip: grab a drink (beer, wine, soda, etc.) before you board at the wheelhouse to take on the High Roller.
Una vez que sube a la cabina cerrada se puede optar por tomar un asiento en uno de los bancos situados a ambos lados de la cabina. Sin embargo, muchos prefieren levantarse contra la ventana para una mejor visión de los paisajes más abajo.
For the best view, it is suggested to stand to the right side of the cabin. This offers the best view of the strip and is perfect for those looking to capture breathtaking photographs.
Each cabin holds up to 40 guests, however, those looking to have the space all to themselves can reserve an entire cabin. This is perfect for large groups, weddings, receptions and other formal gatherings.
Fear of heights? Completely understandable. However, many who have ridden the High Roller have stated that the roominess of the cabins and style of the seating available makes this attraction feel less frightening.
Once the ride starts, there is an in-cabin video that those with a fear of heights can focus on to keep their mind off of how high they are traveling. But only you know the extent of your fear and will need to decide for yourself if the ride is for you.
Parking at the LINQ
Looking for a place to park before exploring this attraction? Spend the money to pay for the convenient valet parking at the LINQ. The money you spend is well worth it and will save you time during your visit.
The valet is located adjacent to the High Roller ticket windows. Drive east on Flamingo Road (moving away from the Strip), turn left on LINQ Lane. It’s just before The LINQ’s back entrance.
What else to Do?
After taking in the fabulous view of the Las Vegas Strip and its surrounding areas, take time to explore what the LINQ’s outdoor shopping area has to offer.
This area is home to many luxury shopping boutiques, fine dining restaurants and live entertainment venues. You are sure to find something to enjoy that will make your trip to the area unique and exciting.
The High Roller at the LINQ is the perfect attraction for anyone wanting a unique experience in Las Vegas, including families, singles and couples. Once aboard the ride you will quickly discover why this attraction was named “The Must See Attraction of 2015 in Vegas” by Huffington Post.
Remember, with the Las Vegas Explorer Pass® you can save up to 55% on combined admission to the High Roller at the LINQ, plus many more top New York City attractions.
